A proud moment for the Ascot office!
If you have visited us in Berkshire before, you will know that dogs are an integral part of our Uptake team. We find that they create a more joyful environment, improve productivity, and encourage healthy breaks throughout the day.
To ensure that we are sharing our workplace in a responsible and safe way, we recently took ‘Dogs in the Workplace’ training with The National Pet College. This unique course is supported by the Pet Industry Federation and Dogfriendly Limited. It guided us through a six-step process, including methods for overcoming difficulties and introducing a positive, dog friendly culture.
The course was split into two components: one for Uptake Strategies as an employer, and one for our team. As a result, we have been able to define a code of practice for our dog owners and their four-legged friends, while also showing kindness to the needs of those who may be less comfortable with dogs in the office.
We are always striving to offer the best possible workplaces for the wellbeing of our wonderful team, so this is another moment to be proud of.
