Charting a Decade of Recognition: From Winning our First PMEA Capability Development Award in 2013 to ‘HIGHLY COMMENDED’ in 2023, We’re Committed to Inspiring Clients with our Bold and Bespoke Approach.
As a global healthcare consultancy to the top global pharmaceutical companies, at Uptake we are celebrating maintaining a decade-long reputation for recognition in capability development following success at the Phamaceutical Market Excellence Awards (PMEA) in London.
We first won the Excellence in Capability Development category in 2013, and have enjoyed multiple PMEA successes since. The category is intended to recognise and commend excellence in the development and implementation of training and capability development programmes that have brought about about real and sustained change and value creation.
At PMEA 2023, our Managing Director, Maxine Smith, Practice Principal, Rachel Foley, and Project Manager, Iruni Rabel were delighted to collect the ‘Highly Commended’ Award for Excellence in Capability Development.
Maxine Smith, Managing Director, Uptake said: “We are on a mission to positively change patients’ lives, and it is our deep privilege to do this with clients like Takeda, where we have the opportunity to deliver huge international impact through our co-created capability development programmes. I am thrilled to be able to share this recognition with the Takeda team.”
This high commendation relates specifically to work we had conducted in response to Takeda’s desire to enable their team to excel in the evolving healthcare ecosystem, and to overcome the challenges faced with traditional approaches to customer engagement.
Together with Uptake, the Takeda Europe and Canada (EUCAN) team focused on developing sustainable new skills to enable them to thrive in the changing healthcare environment and integrate these new ways of working into the foundations of company strategy and direction. The result is the Next Generation Customer Experience (NGCE) Academy, delivered via a variety of learning styles, channels and content to upskill over 2,000 employees across 16 countries with robust adaptive capabilities to lay strong foundations for future success.
We continue to work with our client base to develop capabilities in pharmaceutical and biotech organisations around the world, inspiring exceptional healthcare performance. Discover how we do this through our suite of bespoke capability services and explore the transformation impact delivered to our clients, empowering them to become a global force for growth for their people and patients, as exemplified by our case studies.
