The Challenge

A US Launch Excellence team from a leading pharmaceutical company sought the help of Uptake to design and deliver an onboarding, team building, and training programme for their newly formed team of 15. The Uptake team was tasked with reviewing the progress of the training programme and sharing the learnings after 6 months.

An approach that inspires

The Uptake team designed and facilitated three workshops for the programme. Each of the three workshops had a set of objectives outlined to enable them to run smoothly and ensure that the Launch Excellence team obtained the necessary training and experience.

The objective of the workshops included:

Creating a common team purpose and determining how the positive business impact would be delivered and measured

Building team members’ knowledge of the company’s Launch Excellence Framework and outlining how to maximise brand value and internal stakeholders across different launch phases

Raising awareness of broader ‘launch-relevant’ company processes, tools, and resources and emphasising how these can support the launch effort

Creating a stakeholder feedback survey and sharing results against team KPIs, learnings, and challenges at workshop 4 to set priorities for the rest of the year

Providing 1:1 mentoring sessions for Launch Excellence team leaders
