Cathy is a pharmaceutical business leader who creates value by delivering highly successful launch and growth strategies in Big Pharma and smaller biotech organisations. She has extensive international commercial experience including US, UK and Europe from her 20 years at Eli Lilly and Company, and her subsequent three years at Aimmune Therapeutics/ Nestle Health Science. 

Cathy has held a variety of local, regional and global commercial leadership roles over her 23 year career in the pharmaceutical industry. She has experience of full P&L responsibility, and has demonstrated success across multiple launches in oncology, immunology, allergy and neuroscience. She is results focused, driven by data and insight to dissect and solve complex strategic business problems. ​

She is decisive and forthright, with an authentic leadership style that has enabled her to build and develop talented, diverse and thriving commercial teams at a global, regional and local level. ​

Cathy’s professional passion comes from creating and executing insights-based brand strategies, with a clearly articulated value proposition. She flourishes in creative, inclusive and values-led cultures where she can be brave, bold and innovative. 

Experience

Providing strategic focus for a Senior Vice President, Global Strategy, Marketing and Innovation

Cathy focused the BD and R&D Teams on TA areas where they could win, which aligned, and were synergistic with the broader Nestle Health Science strategy and vision.

Her work ensured their allergy development plan would be commercially viable in the evolving market, and led understanding of what the market- patients, HCP’s, payers – would demand by 2030 in this space, critically analysing the current pipeline to ensure there was a differentiated and valuable offering, giving clarity on whether they should stop, start or continue with the current plan.


Enabling data-driven strategic choices for UK Hub Specialty Business Unit Leader and Chief Marketing Officer

Cathy’s consultancy enabled the organisation to right-size the current UK Hub business to meet future profitability goals and ensure a thriving and sustainable business.


Critical strategic advice to Chief Marketing and Chief Customer Experience Officer

Cathy led a white paper response advising how the organisation should evolve their Global Commercial Model by 2020 to meet the demands of a changing landscape.
