Our annual fast-track graduate programme is part of our Uptake1000 commitment to support the next generation of the pharma and biotech industry.

We are proud to offer a varied and stimulating programme of development, training and coaching for recent graduates.

In return for their commitment to delivering high quality work, graduates at Uptake learn about the structure and skills required to be successful in the pharmaceutical industry across various therapy areas such as oncology, specialty care, and rare diseases.

We also sponsor our graduates with qualifications in marketing, finance, project management, people management, and general business skills, so that you can choose to pursue a career path that aligns with your competencies and interests.

Why join the Uptake Graduate Programme?

  • You will build the foundations for a successful career in commercial healthcare.

  • You will work directly on exciting client projects with the world’s largest pharmaceutical and biotech companies across a range of therapy areas and leading brands.

  • You will gain international experience and have the opportunity to use these skills in client work through virtual working and, where appropriate and possible, international travel.

  • You will have access to fantastic professional development resources, to provide an accelerated development pathway.

  • You get to work alongside an amazing cohort.

Office life

Our graduate programme is based at our UK HQ, in Ascot, Berkshire. Most of our team work one to two days in the office, with the rest from home if preferred, but we do expect our graduates to be able to attend the office regularly for training and development.

Being a force for growth for our people and our clients means that we are highly adaptable. Our core hours are 10am-4pm, and the remainder of the working day can be completed at a time to suit individual preferences and commitments. When working with our international client base, we flex our time to suit our clients’ timezones.

Are you interested in building an outstanding career where you can positively change patients’ lives?
